Quality, Environment and Safety Policy

Since the origin, Sony has shown exemplarity in the fields of Quality, Safety and protection of the Environment and also in the focus on its employees what confers a strong brand image on its products and contributes to place our company in the foreground of its branch of industry.

Strong of its engagements, Sony Dax is starting a step of progress integrating Quality, Environment and Safety.

Our engagement within the framework of this policy is based on the following major principles :

	Have respect for legal, administrative obligations and any other requirements applied to Dax plant and linked to Quality, Environment, Safety and Health.
	Follow the ISO 9001:2000 for Quality, the ISO14001:1996 for Environment and the OHSAS 18001:1999 for Safety standards.
	Promote the continuous improvement of our activities.
	Analyse the whole company performances.
	Optimize energy consumption and natural resources.
	Eliminate, to a certain extent, all hazardous materials or substances for environment.
	Anticipate and decrease any pollution risk.
	Evaluate hazards continuously in order to minimize risks.
	Inform and train permanent and temporary employees to problems linked to Quality, Environment and Safety.
	Check the understanding, implementation and maintenance of our policy to all company levels.
	Review our policy regularly in order that stays adequate.
	Communicate and work with people and administrative authorities in charge of environmental and safety issues.
	Encourage our partners to commit themselves in a similar way.

The stake which this step represents has led me to make of it a strong axis of the strategy in our site.

Thus, within the responsibility of the Quality General Manager and with the engagement of everyone, our company will continue to represent the image of a powerful and responsible company to its customers, its partners and its neighbours.
